Alysa and I had the privilege of taking a week off to road trip through southern Utah and Arizona. It was incredible. We spent an afternoon at Lake Powell, two nights at the Grand Canyon and a night at Bryce Canyon. We danced under a frigid waterfall and even caught a cute picture of it. We managed to get a campsite for free (due to our evident charm and ability to make old bored men behind reservation counters laugh) and we ate like queens! (Who knew Campbell’s soup made so many delicious types of canned soups?) We laughed a lot, and if any of you know Alysa and I, we fight like children, and it often ends in a wrestling match until a winner has declared herself. So, we laughed a lot, and we fought a lot, and it always, always ends in more laughter. We enjoyed our lack of cell coverage and we took tons of photos. This trip was more than fun; it was good for the soul. I am so thankful.
Now that I am home, the task of finding a job was first on my list, and guess what! I found one! A preschool in south Fort Collins has hired me on full time. I am ecstatic to have found a place to work and I am again thankful for the position. The Lord has always provided for me, and I have never found myself coming up dry. He is so good, so providing and a loving Father.
Please pray for me as I train for this new job and learn the ropes. Pray for me as I am going from a few hours a week to full time again and that will be an adjustment. I am so excited to begin working and making some money. Pray for me as I balance this job with my internship and try to figure out how to make that work.
Life is truly beautiful, and I encourage you to never stop seeking adventure and beauty. Adventure is a choice, no matter how old.
